Hastings Ave. is one of the most up-and-coming streets of Leslieville. This street has rare lot sizes – from 25’ (7.6m) wide extending quite far back with laneway access permitting great garages.  The size of the lots also accommodates stunning architecture.

Our rebuild involved preserving two walls and building an addition on the front and the back to take advantage of this deep lot. We dug the basement to get 8’ ceiling height, added a nanny/inlaw suite with laundry, kitchenette, and tons of storage. Upstairs we built 3 great sized bedrooms with a 2nd-floor laundry and 2nd-floor office space. The basement’s wide walkout staircase to the backyard is going to be a great feature that will provide good lighting.  The backyard is also large enough to accommodate a pool!

We understand the importance of the Toronto brickworks and the history of brick architecture in the city of Toronto. Due to this, we spent much time and expense finding the right brick for the front façade as well as the full brick accent wall we placed in the interior.

 We have 4 bedrooms, and 4 washrooms with a formal dining room overlooking the front gardens.
